Introducing the IPYG Affiliate Organization – Frankfurt Indian Scholar Association (FISA)

The Frankfurt Indian Scholar Association is an organization under the Indian Embassy that has established and supports a network of Indian students in Germany. With over 5,000 members, the association focuses on promoting Indian culture and enhancing youth welfare. It works to solve problems and manage conflicts through educational support and various cultural events.

The Frankfurt Indian Scholar Association actively participates in cultural activities that youth can enjoy in collaboration with IPYG. Through these efforts, the association strives to overcome language and national barriers, aiming to integrate diverse cultures within Germany.

The association played a crucial role in the successful hosting of the 2023 Art for Peace Festival and the 2024 IPYG Peace Walk. Moving forward, FISA and IPYG will continue to work closely to expand opportunities that promote peace and unity among young people in Germany.

In July this year, Abdullah Safi, the founder of FISA, signed a partnership with IPYG and expressed his commitment to fostering a culture of peace together:

“Our motivation to collaborate with IPYG stems from our shared vision of promoting unity and peace among youth worldwide. FISA believes in the power of music and dance to bridge cultural and religious gaps and unite young people. IPYG’s dedication to peace aligns perfectly with our mission. Together, we aim to broaden our impact through joint events, workshops, and performances. This collaboration will create more opportunities for young scholars and professionals to network, engage in cultural exchange, and build a global community that values peace and mutual respect.”

“Our message to the youth of the world is simple: Embrace the power of music and dance to connect and spread peace. Let us remember that our shared humanity is our greatest strength. Together, we can overcome barriers and build a future where everyone feels valued and heard.”
