Mongolia’s National Center for Transfusion Signs MOU with HWPL, Promises Continued Cooperation
Mongolia has been experiencing a severe blood supply shortage since the outbreak of COVID-19. HWPL and IPYG youth have been continuously participating in blood donation volunteering since 2023 to improve these challenging medical conditions and help those unable to receive surgeries and treatments.
The National Center for Transfusion, a state-affiliated institution, receives blood donations from citizens and delivers them to hospitals. Approximately 20,000 citizens visit the center annually for blood donation. Mr. Erdenebayar Namjil, the general director of the National Center for Transfusion, expressed gratitude for HWPL’s blood donation activities and welcomed future collaboration proposals. To strengthen their commitment to collaborate, they signed an MOU with HWPL on Friday, January 31st.
Following the MOU signing, the National Center for Transfusion agreed to conduct a month-long blood donation campaign with HWPL. The campaign is being broadcast 30 times daily inside buses in Ulaanbaatar, supported by TV CNBC.
Moreover, in appreciation of HWPL’s continued cooperation, the National Center for Transfusion presented a certificate of appreciation to HWPL’s Chairman Lee Man-hee. The certificate includes content highlighting how HWPL’s blood donation activities are sending a positive message to society and providing hope and encouragement to others.
The collaboration between HWPL and Mongolia’s National Center for Transfusion is an important step toward promoting participation in activities that save lives and drive positive change in the local community.
