Introducing the IPYG Affiliate Organization – Rob Youth Foundation

 

The Rob Youth Foundation has branches in Namibia and Botswana. The Namibia branch has offices in 14 regions with a total of 150 members, while the Botswana branch was established in October 2023 with a total of 25 members. Additionally, branches are being established in South Africa, Eswatini, and Kenya.

The Rob Youth Foundation is dedicated to solving the social and economic problems youth are experiencing. It focuses on youth unemployment, teenage pregnancy, drug and alcohol addiction, school development, environmental conservation, and improving the welfare of local communities as its main areas of activity.

The Rob Youth Foundation, which has been consistently active for youth, partnered with the International Peace Youth Group (IPYG) in June 2022 to promote peace through various initiatives and projects in Namibia and Botswana.

The Rob Youth Foundation collaborated with IPYG to carry out projects such as the Youth Empowerment Peace Class (YEPC), environmental cleanup campaigns, volunteering at the Katutura Old Age Home, and donating on Menstrual Hygiene Day. Additionally, during an interview with the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC), they expressed expectations for future activities with IPYG and revealed plans for further collaboration.

“We believe that if the youth stand up and speak out on issues such as war, hunger, youth unemployment, etc., we will be able to achieve world peace. Now is the time for the youth to stand up and address the issues affecting their lives. We can only live in harmony when peace prevails globally,” said Mr. Robert Maseka, Founder of Rob Youth Foundation.
